Question
What are the options for paying for an in person event, conference, virtual event or webinar registrations?
Answer
Registrations can be paid in one of three ways.
- Department pays the vendor directly through Banner
- Enter a direct pay document
- Itemized invoice required
- For out of state travel, an approved out of state travel request required
- For in state travel and virtual events, signed prepayment statement required (see attached form)
- Pay vendor directly through the travel credit card
- Credit card approval form must be completed, see Requesting Use of the Travel Credit Card
- Event attendee pays the registration fee
Note: reimbursement cannot occur until after the event has ended
- Enter direct pay in Banner
- Invoice with proof of payment required
- For travel, list the expense on the travel payment detail form
