  • Exemptions can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to process
  • This depends on the category and time of year
  • If students are requesting an exemption for financial need, we cannot process those until we receive the FAFSA report and the student accepts their award letter
    • We usually cannot start that process until May.
  • Exemption requests for medical needs require the students' primary care providers information so that we can fax over paperwork
    • Once we get that back, then it goes before a committee for a decision
  • Once a decision has been made, the student is notified via email.
  • We will start processing exemptions on a first come, first serve basis, starting with the current semester
  • For the Fall semester, exemptions must be submitted by July 15th
  • For the Spring semester, exemptions must be submitted by December 15th
  •  If the student is a late admit then they will have 10 days to submit a request
