How do I screen capture on Panopto while using Windows?
Answer
1. Under Secondary Sources, check Capture Main Screen
a. If you would also like to record yourself, make sure the Primary video source is set to your webcam
b. Also, make sure the Audio Source is set to a microphone
2. On the bottom of the screen preview window, check Enable screen capture preview
a. You will need to minimize or hide Panopto in order to ensure the recorder does not appear in your video
3. Once you are ready to start recording, hit Record in the upper left-hand corner
a. Immediately after hitting record, make sure to switch your screen to reflect what you want to record
4. When done recording, switch back to Panopto and hit Stop in the upper left-hand corner
