Issue/Question
I have a Graduate Teaching Assistant and I need him to have access to my D2L Zoom for the course; we both need to have host access
I have a Secretary that I need to have access to my Zoom Meeting
Environment
Cause
To be a co-host the other person(s) must have a licensed account also
If they are a licensed Zoom user - you can only add them as co-host during a Zoom meeting
To be an alternative-host the other person(s) must have a licensed account also
Alternative-hosts can be assigned when scheduling the meeting
If they are not a licensed Zoom user - you will need to have their account updated to licensed and then you will be able to add them as co-host in Zoom
Resolution
Note: Alternative host can start the meeting using the Join Link in the email or calendar invite sent to them by the host.
Note: The meeting will NOT display in the upcoming meeting list in the desktop client or mobile app for alternative hosts.
- Please contact the Service Desk with the following information:
- Other co-host or alternative-host name/email address
- Indicate that they need to be moved to the licensed version of Zoom so you can make them a co-host
